About This Journal
The Journal of Discipliana is the rebirth of Discipliana, the Disciples of Christ Historical Society's earliest publication. Discipliana began in the early 1940s as a newssheet. Over the years it evolved into a scholarly quarterly, publishing original articles on the history of the Stone-Campbell Movement. The Journal of Discipliana is an online only, open access journal. Articles are blind peer-reviewed by members of the Editorial Committee.
Our Mission
The mission of the Disciples of Christ Historical Society, a General Ministry of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is to preserve and proclaim the story of the Stone-Campbell tradition.
